Over the course of fifty years, he built a personal collection of more than 15,000 vintage garments while desig- ning for legendary opera and cinema stars. Dino Trappetti took over control of Sartoria Tirelli and the collection upon Umber-to’s death in 1990.The photograph captures the essence of Italian culture, with its emphasis on food, wine, and socializing.
